Crystal Lake Waterfowl Refuge
116 Ave & 94A Street
This preserved prairie wetland is a sanctuary for many varied species of waterfowl, including our city’s signature bird, the Trumpeter Swan. It’s a beautiful place to relax, unwind, and take a walk through nature without having to leave the comforts of the city.
Bird Watching: This is the place to go if you’d like to see Trumpeter Swans. With its beautiful dock that extends out into the middle of the lake, you’re sure to get right up close with nature. Don’t forget to take a walk down the walking path for a truly wild experience without leaving the comforts of the city. *Excerpt from GP Regional Tourism Guide 2019
